One of a kind coil built, hand-pinched stoneware, hand-painted with underglaze, cone 10 celadon and fired in a wood kiln.
The surfaces of these pieces were created by different types of wood ash which melt in the atmosphere of the kiln during a multi day firing. This creates a unique natural ash glaze. They are food safe. A piece can exhibit both smooth glassy and matte rough surfaces. It is recommended to hand wash.
